Katharine en Sam over dit recital:

We're so looking forward to the recital in December.

We're so excited for this collection of songs. Working on Schumann of course is a gift, always, and this cycle is pretty much perfect.

I don't know if you remember, but James Gilchrist and I traded off with some of the Hermit Songs at the festival this year--so a few audience members might remember those pieces. They're very special to me.

Mozart is of course my favorite, but his songs are not that well known, although they should be--and the Poulenc is a tiny and utterly perfect little group of three, to be sure we have just a taste of French.
